Melted Scorpion Vase | Handmade Ceramic Vase

Available in person only. Browse this piece here, then visit us at Hexe Coffee Oct. 10th from 5- 10 pm to purchase.

A handmade ceramic vase featuring a painted scorpion partially obscured beneath layers of flowing glaze. During firing, the glaze moves across the surface and melts into the scorpion, leaving the figure suspended somewhere between recognizable object and abstraction.

The intentionally distorted scorpion motif makes each angle of the vase slightly different, revealing claws, legs, and the curved tail through the movement of the glaze.

Individually made, glazed, and fired by hand, this one-of-a-kind vase explores transformation, decay, and the unpredictability of the ceramic process. Designed to hold flowers or branches or stand alone as a sculptural ceramic object.

A unique piece for collectors of scorpion decor, insect art, Gothic home decor, dark decor, oddities, occult decor, sculptural pottery, handmade ceramics, and unusual ceramic vases.
