How it all started...

 My journey with ceramics began in 7th grade, guided by an eccentric and inspiring art teacher. From the moment I touched the clay, I was hooked. Despite my enthusiasm, the high cost and limited access to ceramics in Oklahoma kept me away for years.

Everything changed in 2022 when my roommate and childhood friend gifted me a month’s membership to a local studio. Despite my stiletto nails and initial struggles, I fell in love with the process of throwing on the wheel. Since then, I’ve dedicated myself to ceramics, practicing nearly every day and refining my craft.

Orb Weaver Ceramics, launched in 2023, reflects my deep connection to the art form and my fascination with southern gothic aesthetics, mythology, plants, and bugs. I strive to create unique, evocative pieces that tell a story.
