Smal & Medium

Handmade ceramic vases featuring an abstract starburst painted in layers of interacting glaze. Deep oxblood and brown surround a pale, iridescent motif that shifts between cream, gold, and subtle green as the glazes melt together in the kiln.

Each vase is individually wheel-thrown and finished with a softly flared rim and rounded silhouette. The starburst is painted directly in glaze before firing, allowing its edges and surface to move naturally in the heat of the kiln. No two motifs or glaze surfaces emerge exactly alike.

Inspired by celestial imagery, historical ornament, and the imperfect surfaces of aged objects, these small ceramic vases are designed to feel a little like modern relics. Use one for a small arrangement of flowers or display it on its own as a one-of-a-kind ceramic object.

Individually thrown, painted, glazed, and fired by hand.
